Whether it be a Sunday 49er game, a softball team post-game function, or a get-together after a round of golf, all are welcome in their doors. Known famously for their fish and chips, their menu centers on classic bar food, cold beer, and classic cocktails. There are two origin stories that their patrons like to whisper: Originally farmland, the lot at NE 125th and Sandy, unearthed petrified chicken corpses during the development of the property, and hence the name of their beloved tavern, The Wooden Chicken Pub, was born.
