Here’s a side view of the Stadium Tavern on the northeast corner of W Burnside and NW 19th Street after its 1949 fire. A McDonald’s is on the spot now but the house behind it still stands. Familiar landmarks include Civic Stadium across Morrison and the Kingston Hotel just up the street. Burnside looking east from 19th Avenue through the intersection at 18th; Alder angles off to the right.
