At 21 years old, while attending the University of Oregon in 1987, John Kashuba began making futon frames in a friend’s garage on Kincaid Street. With a $10 drill and a $20 saw, John set the groundwork that would set the futon world on fire! Since then they’ve made and sold tens of thousands of futons. For more than 30 years now, they continue in the artisan tradition to produce outstanding products for futon lovers in Portland and beyond.
