Their name Landmass is an homage to the significant sites their fruit is grown, each with its own unique attributes that shape their winemaking approach. Founded by partners in business and life, Melaney Schmidt and Malia Myers, Landmass pairs technical excellence with radical approachability—making energetic wines that reflect place, people, and purpose. With two women at the helm, Landmass steps confidently outside traditional wine norms, building more than just a winery, positioning itself as a community anchor where intimidation gives way to inclusivity. High-elevation sparkling wines are Landmass’ defining signature, having been recognized as the first and only winery to independently produce all four methods of sparkling wine in Oregon, including a rare Charmat Method Sparkling Chenin Blanc.
