The bar is a project of the design studio Old Friend . In collaboration with Kevin Smith and Taylor Thompson of Taylorsmith , the team reimagined a space previously occupied by 24th and Meatballs (RIP they miss you). This unique space marries the rugged charm of, let them say, a New York industrial loft with the warmth of...something like a beach cabin. Adorned with artwork by Elliott Snyder, and curated knickknacks from travels, estate sales, and thrift shops, the interior of Collector holds a refined yet welcoming vibe. "their hope was to create a place that feels like the extension of a really nice living room with a lot of windows." The team said.
