They opened the shop in June 2005, and they’ve spent the years since specializing in hybrids and EVs—mostly Toyota and Lexus, along with Honda and other Asian makes, hybrid or regular gasoline powered. Their Facebook page is literally named “portlandpriusservice,” which tells you where a lot of their days go. Atomic Auto is Portland’s hybrid and EV repair specialist, serving Oregon drivers since 2005. Random troubleshooting wastes time and money, so when a car comes in with a warning light or a driveability concern, they don’t just plug in a scanner and read the first code that pops up.
